A Snapshot of a Call
Officers from the Eastside Patrol Division responded to an accident call at 2500 Galveston Road.
Multiple officers may respond to a call such as this to help investigate and make sure the scene is safe.
Eastside Patrol is a training station, so if a trainer has a probationary police officer (PPO), they may volunteer for a call so the PPO can get experience handling different kinds of calls.

Richard Martin's Daughter Cynthia Martin
The following was shared by Senior Police Officer Todd Young:
"This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of
spending a couple of hours with Cynthia Martin. She is the daughter of slain
officer Richard Martin. Many of you know that I spend a lot of time with Tyler
but it was time to spend time with her. A while back, I promised to buy her a
new pool stick but she had to accomplish a couple of things for me first. She
did so we went shopping. I couldn't believe that she hasn't been to our
memorial to see her dad's name so I took her there to pay our respects. We then
went to see BK at Prison Break Tattoos then had a great lunch. Great times and
I'm very honored to be a part of their lives. #TeamMartin"
