Great Event at University of Colorado - Colorado Springs

A Snapshot of a Call

Officers from the Eastside Patrol Division responded to an accident call at 2500 Galveston Road.

Multiple officers may respond to a call such as this to help investigate and make sure the scene is safe.

Eastside Patrol is a training station, so if a trainer has a probationary police officer (PPO), they may volunteer for a call so the PPO can get experience handling different kinds of calls.

Probationary Police Officer M. Morin gathers information for the Crash Report. PPO Morin is currently in the Field Training Program applying the knowledge she gained in the Academy to the streets.

Richard Martin's Daughter Cynthia Martin

The following was shared by Senior Police Officer Todd Young:

"This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours with Cynthia Martin. She is the daughter of slain officer Richard Martin. Many of you know that I spend a lot of time with Tyler but it was time to spend time with her. A while back, I promised to buy her a new pool stick but she had to accomplish a couple of things for me first. She did so we went shopping. I couldn't believe that she hasn't been to our memorial to see her dad's name so I took her there to pay our respects. We then went to see BK at Prison Break Tattoos then had a great lunch. Great times and I'm very honored to be a part of their lives. #TeamMartin"
