Class 210 Update - OFFICER Williamson

What a year!

I'm officially assigned to Westside Patrol. This will likely be my assignment for at least one year. If anything changes, I will let you know. That is all. You are dismissed.

Officer Williamson is suffering from what's known as "no longer rookie-itus." Symptoms include short and to the point updates to one Officer McCoy. If you would like to visit his more insightful postings of the past please visit these links:

I joke with Officer Williamson, because this is what we do as HPD Blue family members.
I do thank him for the update and keeping in touch with us all as we followed his journey.

P.S. If we are lucky. He will write a comment for us that is longer than his update...

Be safe my friend!

Haha! I didn't think you'd actually post that, Officer McCoy! The journey has been a long and interesting one. The job has definitely been worth the pain getting here. So many of the things I thought I knew from TV shows and from rumors turned out to be nonsense, and so many things I thought would never happen have already happened. I don't know of any other career that promises so little and delivers so much. The people, the experiences and the opportunities to genuinely help those who need it every single day make the sacrifices worthwhile. Every day I come to "work", I encounter something amazing or something rewarding or something terrifying or something incredible. This is where I belong, and I know there are many others out there who belong here too.
