Physical Fitness Applicant Standards

This video displays the Physical Fitness Applicant Standards. It's important that you are in shape before you take this test. You will not proceed further in the application process if you fail any portion of this test.

Push-ups (15)
Vertical Jump (16.5 inches)
Agility Run (20 seconds)
1.5 Mile Run (17:30)
300 Meter Run (78 seconds)
Trigger Pull (6 pulls each hand)

Same test for all applicants, male or female.

Keep in mind, these are the Applicant Standards.  As a Cadet, you will be tested to a higher standard.  You will be tested to the Cadet standards during your first week in the Academy.

Cadet Standards

Pushups (25)
Vertical jump (18.5 inches)
Agility Run (17.8 seconds)
300 Meter Run (71 seconds)
1.5 Mile Run (15 minutes 54 seconds)

Same test for all Cadets, male or female.

Wow I could pass that test in my sleep. I run 3 miles in 18 minutes. The rest is child's play. Let's do it.

Glad hpd raised their physical fitness test requirements. Before, it was a joke...

The 300 Meter looks like its the most challenging and require the most energy and stamina. Pullups would be a good test too...
