Officers in Action

During the month of March, 2010, Sergeant Heath Bounds, Officer Michael Young, Officer Michael Walding, Officer Travis Curtner and Officer David Enlow, executed 187 felony warrant services as part of their assignment to the North Division Warrant Execution Team. These felony warrant services resulted in 88 felony arrests. The following is a brief summary of the type of arrests made by the officers:

Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child – two arrests
Continued Sexual Abuse of a Child – one arrest
Injury to a Child - one arrest
Indecency with a Child - two arrests
Child Pornography – two arrests
Aggravated Robbery – seven arrests
Aggravated Assault – thirteen arrests
Burglary – eight arrests
Narcotics – twenty-seven arrests
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon – six arrests
Disarm a Police Officer – one arrest

Their outstanding level of determination, dedication, and resourcefulness sets the standard. The contribution that these officers make to the safety of the citizens of Houston is immeasurable and should be commended.
