At least he used his blinker...

The man in this video had been ticketed by a Buffalo Grove, Illinois police officer ran backward and up onto a squad car, apparently in his haste to drive off. He had been pulled over by the officer for driving 58 mph in a 35 mph zone.

The officer wrote the ticket and returned to the car, and violator got ready to drive away. Except he went flying backward. He apparently was going to pull away at a high rate of speed, but the only problem was that he was in reverse.

The officer, a 20-year veteran of the Buffalo Grove department, was not injured. The car ended up with the left rear wheel of the car coming through his windshield, about 6 inches from the officer's face. He was not injured.

Unbelievable. I'm just thankful that officer wasn't hurt or killed!
