I came across an old video of mine which I filmed while on patrol many years ago. I do not remember the call or the situation, I just remember the dog on the roof. I remember that the original call was across the street, but I had to stop and ask the owners of this particular house if they knew that they had a "roofer" on their house. (OK, I know that was a bad joke, give me a break it's been a "ruff" day...ouch, there I go again.) The owners knew about the dog on the roof and actually encouraged it by placing stairs in their backyard leading up to the roof. Strange call for service. Not only are calls for service exciting and unique they can sometimes be humorous. Free Recruiting T-Shirt for the first person to comment what year this video was taken. Funny video and as for the year I'd have to say that it was between 1991 and 1994 because the unit that was in the driveway was either a 1991 or 1992 Chevrolet Caprice and you have been in the Recruiting Unit since 1994 but if I had to guess the exact year I'd say 1993???

You said you came to recriting in 1994 so my guess is 1993 based on the color and style of the shop in the driveway. If I'm correct I will stop by and pick up my t-shirt! Thanks!
I can't quite pin down the exact year. The patrol car is a 1991 or 1992 Caprice. Thats as close as I can get.

I've completed all phases of testing. At this point I am waiting for final approval from the Chief to see if I will be a part of Class 207. Good luck!
Have they cancelled all academy classes after june 2009? I dont see anymore listed for the remainder of the year.
Right now these are the only two future classes that have been funded. We are hoping that a few more will get funded before then.
With all the budget cuts, does class 207 still get the $12,000 incentive?
Yes, Class 207 will get the 12K incentive.

We do not know the budget that far in advance. I would hope that we have more classes. We have had as many as seven classes a year.

Since the majority of the classes have been canceled, does that mean that hiring new applicants has reached its peak.
Not the case. We are still taking applications and hope to fund new classes in the future.
