Meet Officer Adrianna Roberts

video

Click Play Above

I was in the photo lab this morning and I ran into Officer Roberts and her Field Training Officer. She was learning how to put together a photo line up for a call she was on. She told me things were going great and she loved her job. Officer Roberts graduated from Academy Class 200 last month and is currently training with a veteran officer.

It is amazing how these little videos and insight you provide have made me want to become a police officer. I have been following your blog for months. A friend told me about it and I added it to my favorites. You have inspired me and I hope you will have me. I applied last night. Just wanted to thank you.

Congratulations Officer Roberts! I look forward to meeting you in the field some day. I've submitted my online application this week and hope to hear back soon. These videos are a great motivator, Officer McCoy. Keep 'em coming.

I love the videos with officers that went through the academy recently. It is expiring and makes me want to be where they are.

Thanks for sharing.

She mentions the "red man" from the academy. I think for graduates of urban police academies, the mere mention of that phrase makes old bruises and scars instantly appear on our bodies.

I love all of the different videos and stories on this Blog. They give good insight on what the Houston Police Department is like, and what different officers experiences are with it. Congratulations on your accomplishment of completing the academy and moving on to field training, and Good luck in your career Ofc. Roberts.

Is the March 9th class full? Is there still time to get in?
