Last Roll Call

Click Play Above
As the sun rises and everyone prepares for a new day, a special moment occurs at the Houston Police Academy on the last day as a cadet. Cadet classes will stand in formation and will announce their names one by one very quickly. Throughout training, roll calls are done the same every time. However, on graduation day, such as Class 196, it is done a little differently.

That is amazing. I can see the pride in each face. This makes me want to join right now. I am only 18 though. I like the blog Officer McCoy.

Just wanted to comment on your site and what I know of your organization. It appears to be very professional and impressive. I have been in law enforcement for over 15 yrs and was sent this link by one of my previous officers who is in Class 199. It makes me very happy to see a quality officer enjoying his dream with an orgainization like yours. He has mad us proud and I'm sure will do the same for you!!! C.L.Carroll

Thank you Mr. Carroll. I have a good feeling that Class 199 is lucky and proud to have one of your former officers. Thanks for the compliment.

Outstanding video Mike. You've outdone yourself again.

We hope to see you and your cameras back at the Academy in August for 197's graduation.
