Happy Cinco De Mayo

This gentleman was a Pearl Harbor survivor during World War II. He was enjoying the view!

Chief of Police Harold Hurtt handed out treats to all the kids.

ABC Channel 13's Deborah Wrigley enjoys the beautiful day during the parade.

Thank you for sharing Mr. McCoy. These pictures are great. We saw you at the parade and had a fun time. I go to the High School for law enforcement. Chief Hurtt is also nice. He gave us candy and said hello. That was cool. Great parade.

My name is Paul Foster, I graduated from Class 195 on April 15th, 2008. After spending 6 months in the Houston Police Academy I am now serving our community as a Houston Police Officer. I am proud to be apart of this family and am proud to be serving Houston. It seems as if it was just yesterday that I was in the shoes of so many of the readers of this website. Eager and a little nervous with the hopes of starting a new adventure as a Houston Police Officer. Looking back at it all I cannot think of anything i would rather have done.
